Windows Tip: Set A Video As Your Background

In Windows XP and Vista, you can use a free program (www.http://www.dreamrender.com) to play video and movie clips as your desktop background. If you have Vista Ultimate, this can already be done using the DreamScene add on pack.
It worked for me. But it’s really chopy when I used a music video as a wallpaper. Maybe it’s too big? :S. Well I’ll try some dreamscene videos n see how it works. it only lags when i hover over its tray icon…but i hate how the desktop icons are so small! Why can’t they stay the same.

the links dead, but you can use vlc player and set the video to repeat and wallpaper and boom

nah it runs really smooth. i got only 1 gig, i got firefox, object dock, windowsblinds, dreamrender,nod32,weatherbug, and my hp digital monitoring thing running and i still got alot left
