Tenacious D “The Metal” Intro Tutorial

I make it easier to learn how to play the intro of “The Metal” by playing it at normal speed, and then again slowly. Standard Tuning.

The distortion I use is a Line 6 “Pod Xt”. Heres the link-

And the amp I use is a Marshall mode four 350 watt Head (mf350) with a mf400 Cabinet.

i had no problem with the speed, if you cant see what to do from the slowed down section then you have issues :S

If you pick more during the hammer-ons the sound comes out a little easier. You are definitely right about playing it fast. It is so much harder to keep track of where you are when playing it slower.
