Sixaxis Tutorial: How to use your sixaxis controller with you computer AND program keys with Pinnacle Game Profiler

This video will attempt to help you
1. Use your ps3 axis on your pc/vista
2. Emulate key presses for other games that don’t have an option to configure it in the game. Like using the controller to play an emulator or sidescrollers or and other stuff
This video was meant to be idiot proof and meant for people who don’t know much (hence the dumb guy voice) so if you say like “OMG I KNOW THIS or OMG PEOPLE KNOW HOW TO DO THIS” then just go away, plz.

When using Pinnacle Game Profiler
-make sure you know which keys do what to control the character on screen
Example: a Mario game uses SPACEBAR to jump. So if you wanted to make X jump you would assign SPACEBAR to X and that would emulate the spacebar on keyboard.

well.. i always install it.. then restart my pc. after restarting i click the launch pinnable on desktop.. then it gets an error after 5 seconds.. and says over run error. then when i click ok. nothing happens.

Yeah i think i’ve seen the videos about how to use it forever but i’m not sure. If you wanted to get a similar program you could try Xpadder.

Awsome dude! Now this program is only for 30 days. do you know how to hack it so it stays on day one permanently? I found a video about it but, it is not stupid proof like this one.

Game Controllers—>properties, then press all the buttons and see which correspond with which button that lights up.

If you have your controller plugged in just press the button at the part where you go to program the buttons.
Ex. if you pressed button 1 you should see a small little window where the button is.
Ex. OR you could go to Control Panel–>Game Controllers

I’ve never actually had this problem so lemme try to help the best i can.
-Theres a chance that it could just be the usb port itself.
-If you here the noise from the computer when you plug it in try reinstalling the drivers,
-Try the obvious and restart your computer then try plugging the thing in again, run the driver and press the ps button again.
None of that stuff works lemme know and i’ll try to see if i can help any further.

pinnacle doesnt work for me.. ive bought the real thing.. trial or retail doesnt work.. when i open the file it says over run error.
Help please.. i dont want to get scammed xD

No prob, i’m not sure if theres a list but chances are that if you come across a game like halo 2 that already has preset buttons you can’t change you’re probably better off just using the keyboard.

Ok well the only thing that I could find is to.
-Do a complete re-download/clean install of the software again

How do i completely remove this from my computer? when my trial period is up i can only use it for 15 minutes at a time. Then i delete all the pinnacle stuff i can find and I redownload and install….Then it just continues where the days left off and it still only lets me use it for 15 minutes….so do you know how to completely remove it or another program?

Well it’s not a free service but if you want to uninstall it just go to add/remove program in your control panel and find it.
