  4. that’s what I use - so yes - Select the creative ASIO driver - set your buffer settings to 10ms or lower. Works great - not much of a delay at all. You should have a couple gigs of ram though. That really helps.

  9. 1. use an asio driver and lower your buffer settings

    2. in your channel setting tab - misc - level adjustments - turn up the volume before you record or add a compressor to the mixer track.

    3. you need to draw your pattern to the playlist or switch to pattern mode.

  10. Hey y’all. I’m using FL Studio 8 and I just purchased a Korg k-25 MIDI Controller but I encountered some problems:

    1. The sound isn’t in-sync with the stroke of the keys (it’s slower).

    2. The sound volume is softer compare when I hit the play button.

    3. When I send something to piano roll and start playing, I can hear what I play but it doesn’t appear on the piano roll window.

Since I’m new to this, ideas and/or enlightenment would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  14. Gsnap is an fx processor that does pitch correction - I’m not sure how or why you would want to hook up a keyboard to that.

  15. its okay ive done it now. you have any idea on how to connect the keyboard to GSnap? (a fruity loops VST)

  16. Oh, that’s not good - Could be RAM or You need to update your soundcard driver.

How much RAM do you have?
What kind soundcard do you have?

  18. Are there other sequencers that have a feature similar to the playlist aranger in FL? Something where you can take blocks of performances and drop them in line to paste together a complete arrangement.

  19. did you checked the enable button in the midi settings?

Another common mistake - it is also possible the you have your plugs reversed - on your midi keyboard. The plug labeled “in” plugs into out. The plug labeled “out” plugs into in.

If that is not it contact M-audio or Yamaha - get phone support. For the kind of money you spent they should come over and hook it up for you, If they don’t get it going demand a refund - someone will fix it in a Flash:)

  24. No direct support - some people have gotten FL Studio to work on the MAC by running a Paralells Desktop.
